How to make homemade liquid fabric softener
Here is a CHEAP and EASY alternitive to that pricy liquid fabric softner. This is a very simple solution that is certianly more natural than all the chemicals you are putting in your clothes with the store bought fabric softner and works even better! I got the hair conditioner on sale (really cheap brand) for .89cents, and of course vinegar is about $2.00 for the 1/2 gallon size so this is MUCH cheaper and "greener"!
- Difficulty:
- Easy
Instructions
things you'll need:
- 3 C vinegar
- 2 C hair conditioner (any kind)
- 6 C water

- 3
store in air tight container.
- 4

What are the benefits of using facial toners
Gambar sekadar hiasan
Benefits of using facial toners
- Remove dirt and makeup residue
- Complement the cleansing process
- Refine pores and tighten pores temporarily
- Make skin feel fresh and clean
- Remove excess oil from the skin
- Refresh tired complexion
- Whisk away impurities
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines
- Increase blood circulation
- Restore your skin’s natural pH balance
- Improve skin tone
- Reduce oil secretion
- Improve the elimination of toxins
- Speed up cell turnover
- Promote sloughing of dead skin cells
Most of the dermatologists say that if you cleanse your face regularly twice a day with the appropriate skincare products you can go without a toner, but those with oily or acne-prone skin swear by toners as they keep their skin clean and fresh and remove the excess oil from the surface of the skin. Most of the people with problem skin look for a toner containing alcohol as it dry the pimples faster and there is nothing wrong in that. You should look for a product specifically designed for oily or acne-prone skin, containing salicylic acid, glycolic acid, hydroxyl acid. If the amount of alcohol is too much it can provoke production of more oils which in turn means more pimples, more blackheads, clogged pores.
How to apply facial toner properly:
Step 1 Wash your face
Splash your face with warm water and make sure your hands are clean. Apply the cleanser to your face with circular motions. Make sure you cover all the areas – forehead, chin, nose, cheeks and neck then rinse with lukewarm water.
Step 2 Apply the facial toner
A toner should always be applied to a cleansed face. It should be applied with a cotton pad. Saturate the cotton pad and pat the toner gently over your face and neck area. Apply it to the forehead, cheeks, chin and nose, or to the whole face. Never rub your skin when applying toner.
Step 3 Apply moisturizer
After applying facial toner your skin may feel a little tight and dry and that’s why you need to apply a facial moisturizer after toning your skin.
Common ingredients in facial toners are:
Witch Hazel, Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera, Glycerin, Sodium hydroxide, fragrance, Methylparaben, Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Panthenol, Lactic Acid, Centella asiatica, rose geranium essential oil, chamomilla recutita.
Useful tips:
- When applying toner avoid the eye area
- Some harsh ingredients in the toner may cause irritation characterized by redness, itching, burning, and peeling.
- If your skin is sensitive look for a rosewater facial toner
- Never rub your skin when applying facial toner
- A toner containing alcohol can dry out your skin
- Always apply the toner to a cleansed face.

no more plastic bag concept
Sustain A Bag!
Returning Service for more durable Shopping Bags
Of course, everybody could just always take a bag from home for groceries instead of taking the plastic bags from the shop. But you often come from work or decide spontaneously to buy something and then you end up with plastic bags again. At home you don‘t know if you should keep them, because you feel bad throwing them away, on the other hand you already have so many of them....
Services can make it convenient to „share“ a product with others. Many people have access to the same product, but don’t have to deal with the organisation of sharing it, the service is doing it for you. The car sharing system “Mobility” in Switzerland for example works exactly in this way, with several advantages: The product is always available when you need it. You save resources and end up with less waste, because the product is used to almost full capacity.
That’s why I designed a service to share shopping bags. At the shop desk you can get one of these bags. It is stronger then the little plastic bags and also more appealing. It’s not as personal as your individual handbag, but still has more identity and quality than a cheap plastic bag. After paying the deposit you take the grocery home. You can do this procedure several times, before bringing the collected bags back. Once in a while, when you’re not in a hurry and go to the supermarket from home, you return the collected space saving bags, maybe together with the empty PET- and beer bottles. After scanning them (RFID), you get your deposit back and the bags are going through an automatic cleaning process. Then they will be hanged back to the cash desk, well presented and clean, ready for the next customer to use.
With Shopping Bag Sharing we can eliminate the usage of harmful one-way plastic bags and replace them with a bag that offers you more comfort and excitement. At the same time, it results in a product with a longer lifetime and thus a reduced amount of waste and resources being used.

konsep baru penggunaan sabun, mungkin boleh dikembangkan oleh usahawan muslim
Soap Flakes
Soap Blocks instead of liquid Soaps
Today, most of the soap we use is liquid soap, which contains a lot of water. Block soap instead is more concentrated and therefore has some ecological benefits: You don’t transport unnecessary water around. In place of plastic bottles you can simply use paper for packaging. The solid blocks can easily be piled and allow a greater space efficiency in a truck.
But what about the usage of soap bars? I don’t like the weird slippery feeling when I use them. It gives me goose bumps. And under the shower, it always slides out of your fingers. Hand soap also often gets dirty and accumulates bacteria when more than one person is using it.
I designed two dispensers that turn block soap into beautiful little flakes. They offer you a new comfortable sensation when they are falling on your hands and easily dissolve in water.
The first version needs to be attached to the wall. You can easily use it with one hand; while you are pushing the grater, you are capturing the flakes. With its open shape it lets the soap block evolve its fragrances into the room.
The second version is a grater that can stand by itself. Therefore it’s more flexible in usage. It could be placed in the same way as a shower gel or shampoo.
